A. KAOUSSIS S.A. was founded in 1958 in Athens, with main object the construction of heavy duty vehicles. Since 1971, as anonymous industrial company, manufactures the first Greek know-how and production-waste collection vehicles, with the ahead of its time groundbreaking “rotating drum-type compression system”. The widespread acceptance that knows the new product places the company at the top of the Greek market and causes the expertise of waste management constructions.
In the next few years, the company is investing strongly in developing a domestic waste management expertise, customized to the specific conditions prevailing in the country, in cooperation with recognized companies abroad. In 1982, it manufactures the first –Greek production– “press-type compression system”, while since 1989 it has extended its activities to the study and construction of Waste Transfer Stations.
At the same time, it constantly enriches its products, by providing innovative solutions for any specific need of stakeholders and actively contributes to developing a domestic “culture” of the industry.
